Last few copies! Six years after their cult sludge opus Deep Mountain, the elusive UK heavy psych unit Sloath return with III_a raw, stripped-down distillation of their crushing minimalist rock. Written during a brief burst of activity in late 2014, the album tightens their signature blend of classic riff worship and slow-motion intensity. Recorded in 2015 with Tim Cedar (Part Chimp) but left to ferment for years, III finally emerged in 2019 after a long mixing process. A thunderous, slow-burning statement from a band known as much for their long silences as for their seismic volume.
