RSD 2025 release. '80' is the third chapter of RG Rough's '60/70/80' trilogy. Conceived in the same way and spirit as '60' and '70,' it is a musical jigsaw made up of sounds from the '80s, which takes the listener on an audio/ spatial journey through that decade. It is extremely hard if not impossible to actually place a name or reference on any particular piece of the puzzle, as everything is so thoroughly edited and interlocked. Various forms and structures may feel vaguely familiar but the end result is an entirely original work which bears the artist's unmistakable stamp.
