The disciples of downer rock return with a killer 7-inch single. On this release, their first since the 2022 self-titled debut, Parish explores humankind's relationship with the sun over the course of two heliolatrous hard rock hymns. 'Queen Of The Skies' sees the trio channel Humble Pie, Free and perpetual favourites Budgie in celebrating our brightest star's life-giving properties. On the B side, the singer-songwriters of Laurel Canyon, Bob Welch-era Fleetwood Mac and Thin Lizzy serve as inspiration for 'Sisters Of The Light', which takes a look at the darker side of sun worship.
