Last few copies! Fourth Album and and first for Get Hip Recordings by brilliant New Orleans Psychedelic Garage band! Carrying the lo-fi aesthetic of pioneers Guided By Voices, the band has abandoned the 7-minute psych jam for song fragments and brevity, not unlike something you would mistake for The Who Sell Out. Recorded in a comic book shop/arcade after hours, you can almost smell the cigarettes and hear the whiskey breath on the microphones, the infighting and bickering. Twin Language is arguably a watershed moment for a veteran psych combo that may have already tired of their reverb effects a long time ago.
